Pi vs tau

Two spinsters sitting on a bench on the side of a country road. They start an intense discussion about the change from pi to tau.
One of them, the theoretical spinster, says: 'If we will send a message to the universe, we should use a code based on pi. Pi is universal. If someone will receive our message, it will be understood. We cannot change pi in tau!'
The other, the experimentalist spinster, contributes: 'No, no, no! Tau is way better than pi. If you want to measure the radius of the circle, you first measured the diameter and then divide by 2. So why having the factor 2 to express the circle length 2piR, rather than tauR. Tau is better!'

So they spend their life discussing the sense of universe in tau and pi! And remained single and spinsters...
